Hello readers,
We have always believed in taking care of our skin naturally or by the use of beauty products which are loaded with natural ingredients.
Today, we bring you yet another simple, easy and natural way to remove makeup from your skin with this beauty DIY.
The importance of removing makeup before you sleep cannot be emphasized enough as:
- the skin renews when you sleep and if you don’t remove makeup, you are preventing that from happening which results in appearance of wrinkles on the skin pretty soon.
- By leaving the makeup on, you are clogging the pores which can lead to acne and blackheads.
A simple face wash cannot clean that residue left behind from oily, long lasting makeup that we put on our face these days, so, it is very important to remove the makeup with the help of a remover which is effective, natural and suitable for your skin.
For a perfect nightcare routine, follow it with a cleanser and moisturiser. You might want to try our night mask for that refreshing, hydrated skin.
However, there might come one of those nights when you are too lazy to even wash your face but follow the night care routine, micellar water comes to the rescue there. Simply, keep a bottle by your bedside and you are covered.
Stay happy, stay beautiful!

I am already in love with oil based make up removers but didn’t know we could do these at home too!! Bye bye to store bought!!

Sounds like perfect makeup remover! Coconut oil definitely is good to your skin too. Another tip I want to add, you can also use cooking oil (olive oil). Simply pour some onto the cotton pad and it’s so easy to use. I love your comment design.
I used to use baby oil earlier and it worked great too, did not use olive oil..will try that!
Thank you Claire 😊
I will def try this! Make up wipe removers are over priced to me. Lotion works great as well!
Natural product is always great . I will love to share this article to my wife
I have literally just been writing a piece about this! I love coconut oil for some many things it’s like magic!
We have a post at besties on the use of coconut oil

Hope you find this one useful 😊
Love this! So easy to make! After a stressful day, I am so tired that I can’t find time to wash my face. This DIY face cleaner would be at my night table so I can still remove my make up before I go to bed.
And it also leaves your face moisturised so something better then nothing 😊
I will definitely share this post with my female friends. They are absolutely gonna love these simple and effective DIYs
Thank you 🙂
I’ve been making more and more of my own beauty treatments. Now (thanks to you) I have another to try! I love that it’s full of natural ingredients and things that I already have. Isn’t coconut oil the best? x
We had love to try some ourselves if you like to share 🙂
Coconut oil is THE THE best. You should read this post by bestie:

We have a feeling you will like it 🙂
wow! I didnot know olive oil could be used for that. It is just amazing.
I have usesd coconut oil as makeup remover before and this it works wonders. Adding baby shampoo is a great idea to it though. Will have to try it out.
I use cruelty free products so I like the sound of going that one step further and making my own DIY makeup remover. Especially since they would be non toxin as well x
We are a big fan of natural ones ourselves.
We will be happy to hear the reviews 🙂
I am big fan of coconut oil to apply on scalp. Didnt know about its use as makeup remover!
Seems pretty cool and useful! Will show this to my cousin and she could save some cash hehe!
Hehe
Thanks Vlad 😊
I enjoyed reading this, very useful indeed! I will try it out. I have coconut oil…just need the shampoo! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Everyone always says coconut oil is so good for your skin! Do you tend to get the problem of it re-solidifying with this recipe? That would be the only thing I’d be concerned about.
As it’s mixed with water and baby shampoo, we do not..I have been using it for so long and did not face such problem but then again, I stay in Singapore which is warm usually.
Please do share your reviews if you face any issues..we will be happy to know 🙂
Looks like a great more natural sounding way of taking off your make up. I always make such an effort to remove my make up every night x
Yeah! So easy and leaves your skin moisturised at the same time 🙂
I love this DIY idea! And I didn’t even think about how I could make my own wipes by adding the remover to a jar of cotton pads ❤
That’s the way it serves the laziness in us 😊
Coconut oil has so many different amazing properties. I didn’t realize that taking off makeup would be one of them. But I do know it would be good for your skin.
Yeah! Trust us, it works wonder 😊
I am out of make up removal and I have all the ingredients. I think I might try and prepare it myself as well.
We would love to know your reviews 😊
Great post! We will have to try this recipe and let you know how we get on. We actually did a video earlier this year about making lipstick from coconut oil and crayola crayons.
The funny thing is, the colours are fab!!!
That sounds interesting!
Can you share the video link, we had love to watch it 🙂
I love to use DIY cosmetics as they are trustworthy. Thanks for sharing the receipe.
You’re welcome 😊
Natural product is always great
Always!
What a fantastic idea to make your own make-up remover and coconut oil is so nourishing for your skin as well, bonus that it’s completely organic and natural.
I use just coconut oil for makeup removal. But this DIY idea seems to be better, will give it a try!
