DIY Makeup remover

Posted on July 1, 2017July 12, 2018 by bestiesnotepad

Hello readers,

We have always believed in taking care of our skin naturally or by the use of beauty products which are loaded with natural ingredients.

Today, we bring you yet another simple, easy and natural way to remove makeup from your skin with this beauty DIY.

The importance of removing makeup before you sleep cannot be emphasized enough as:

  • the skin renews when you sleep and if you don’t remove makeup, you are preventing that from happening which results in appearance of wrinkles on the skin pretty soon.
  • By leaving the makeup on, you are clogging the pores which can lead to acne and blackheads.

A simple face wash cannot clean that residue left behind from oily, long lasting makeup that we put on our face these days, so, it is very important to remove the makeup with the help of a remover which is effective, natural and suitable for your skin.

For a perfect nightcare routine, follow it with a cleanser and moisturiser. You might want to try our night mask for that refreshing, hydrated skin.

However, there might come one of those nights when you are too lazy to even wash your face but follow the night care routine, micellar water comes to the rescue there. Simply, keep a bottle by your bedside and you are covered.

Stay happy, stay beautiful!

V|XOXO

Sounds like perfect makeup remover! Coconut oil definitely is good to your skin too. Another tip I want to add, you can also use cooking oil (olive oil). Simply pour some onto the cotton pad and it’s so easy to use. I love your comment design.

Love this! So easy to make! After a stressful day, I am so tired that I can’t find time to wash my face. This DIY face cleaner would be at my night table so I can still remove my make up before I go to bed.

I use cruelty free products so I like the sound of going that one step further and making my own DIY makeup remover. Especially since they would be non toxin as well x

Everyone always says coconut oil is so good for your skin! Do you tend to get the problem of it re-solidifying with this recipe? That would be the only thing I’d be concerned about.

As it’s mixed with water and baby shampoo, we do not..I have been using it for so long and did not face such problem but then again, I stay in Singapore which is warm usually.
Please do share your reviews if you face any issues..we will be happy to know 🙂

Coconut oil has so many different amazing properties. I didn’t realize that taking off makeup would be one of them. But I do know it would be good for your skin.
