Put all the ingredients under For Pesto Sauce section in a grinder and grind to a smooth paste. Do not add water. The pesto sauce is ready and can be used for pasta and sandwiches. Store it in a container and keep refrigerated.
Boil enough water in a deep pan and add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of oil. Once it comes to boil add pasta and cook till soft. Drain and reserve some of the water.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and keep aside.
Heat a pan, add olive oil. Once heated add chopped tomatoes and cook for a minute.
Now add 2-3 tbsp of prepared pesto sauce depending how much strong flavor you prefer and give it a mix.
Add cooked pasta, 2-3 tbsp of reserved pasta water (you can also use vegetable stalk instead of pasta water), salt and pepper. Give everything a good mix.
Add cream and Parmesan cheese. Pesto pasta is ready, serve hot.
Feel free to add different vegetables of your choice like broccoli, mushrooms, onions, spinach, baby corns etc for added health and flavor.
