Hello!!
Today’s post will definitely excite most of skincare enthusiasts out there as it’s a review of Forest essential’s Soundarya day cream. The product has been on the wishlist of many of us but the price…yeah! many of you would definitely want to read the review first before trying as it’s way too expensive.
What’s so exciting?
Well, one ingredient that caught my attention before anything else is 24 Karat Gold…Yes!! Forest essential claims that the cream incorporates real 24 karat gold which helps to restore the firmness of the skin, giving it a natural facelift.
Product claims
Ayurveda speaks of flawless skin as lustrous, smooth, evenly coloured, firm, elastic and with a golden sheen.Based on the age-old Ayurvedic formulation called Swarn, the Soundarya Radiance Cream uses the power of pure 24-Karat Gold to work its revitalizing magic on your skin.Gold is a metal that easily absorbs into the skin, protecting it from the sun and environmental damage, improving its elasticity and working as an extremely powerful age-defying agent.
It has an exceptionally rich and light texture and incorporates a combination of precious herbs and gold, which firms and tones the facial muscles giving the face a natural ‘facelift’. – SPF 25 helps neutralize UVA and UVB radiation and protects skin from sun, environmental stress and pollution.
Review
Well, as said above, the first attraction point to the cream is 24 karat gold tag but other than that, the cream also has an exciting range of natural ingredients like saffron, cow’s ghee and liquorice. A and I have always been a big fan of natural ingredients and forest essential’s products – so this was sure to be given a try. 🙂

So, yeah ingredients – checked and impressed.
Now, as with most of the FE products, the cream comes in a luxurious tub giving it a classy look. The cream is rich yellow in color and though many of you might disagree, I did not like the feel and texture at first but it does absorb quickly in the skin and does not feel heavy at all.
I did not really notice any change in the fine lines, they definitely did not disappear..but it did prevent new ones from occurring. The skin really felt hydrated, soft and supple throughout the day. One more additional benefit is that it prevents you from using that extra load of sunscreen as it comes with SPF ( I have been looking for one with the SPF as I really don’t like to put that extra layer of sunscreen).
One thing to notice is that it’s surely not meant for acne-prone skin. My sister-in-law used it and noticed break outs right from the first use. So, people with acne-prone skin might definitely want to do a patch test first.

Buy again?
Maybe! Even if the cream comes with lots of benefits, it surely is very expensive and I would rather try brands like Estee Lauder, SK II before repurchasing this one.
